Stacey Donovan

Stacey Donovan, born Kelley Jean Howell grew up in a strict Catholic family with one sibling, Tracey Ann Howell. Raised in a conservative household, she had no sexual experience prior to her adult film career. After high school, she faced financial struggles and entered the adult industry in 1984 at age 18, driven by the need for money, earning up to $1,000 per day, per The Baltimore Sun. Using aliases like Ashley Britton, Ashli Briton, Camilla, Cal Culver, and variations like Stacey Donavan, she appeared in over 100 films from 1984 to 1988, working with studios like VCA and Caballero Home Video. Notable films include Passions (1985), Pleasure Maze (1985, as Hostess), Passion Pit (1985, as Judy), and Miami Spice II (1988, as Greta), with her performances noted for her blonde hair, blue eyes, and girl-next-door appeal, though she expressed discomfort with public nudity, per Alchetron.

Donovan collaborated with performers like John Holmes, Steve Drake, and Tracey Adams. She was a Hustler centerfold (1984), appeared on the cover of Seventeen, starred in Swatch commercials, and modeled for Christy’s Hot Talk adult chat phone service ads in the 1980s. She won no major awards but was recognized for her enthusiasm, despite her own admission of disliking the work.
